Massage Treatments

Deep Muscle Massage
This therapeutic massage focuses on relieving specific areas of tension,
pain, or imbalance in the muscular system. A variety of therapeutic
techniques—including myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and
deep tissue work—are utilized to release contracted tissue, to break up
adhesions / scar tissue, and to improve blood flow.

Wellness Massage
A classic Swedish massage consisting of long, flowing strokes to
provide a deep sense of relaxation and rejuvenation. Great for
relieving tension, improving skin tone, and creating a sense of overall
well-being.

Sports Massage
Optimize your performance with a combination of deep-muscle
massage, stretching, and exercises. Designed to restore optimal
function to muscles and joints, this bodywork will help you to prepare
better and recover faster, whatever your “sport.” Neuromuscular and
stretching techniques are combined with exercises to lengthen
contracted muscles, strengthen weakened muscles, and increase the
range of motion.

Prenatal Massage
This deeply soothing massage is specifically designed for the special needs
of expectant mothers. It is designed to improve circulation, reduce
swelling in the feet and hands, and release tension in the lower back,
neck, and shoulders. This therapy is not recommended during the first
trimester.

Reflexology
Involving the application of pressure to specific reflex points located on the hands and feet that correspond to related glands, organs, muscles, and
systems of the body, this massage helps to dissolve blocked energy, improves circulation, and renews balance.

TESTIMONIALS

I had pain in the back of my neck and shoulder blade and numbness in my left arm right down to my fingertips.
From May to October, I had no feeling in my left arm. I went to my family physician and then to my chiropractor.
They sent me for an MRI and it showed a pinched nerve in my neck. The chiropractor, who I love, worked on it
for weeks. Nothing helped. I had to close my cleaning business. The doctors said I would need surgery. Then
someone recommended that I go see Pauline. With the first 2 treatments from her, I had some relief. On the third
treatment, she used her ayurvedic therapy, and 2 days later my neck was like new. I had feeling in my arm and hand, and the pain was gone. Now I see her every other month for prevention. The only unfortunate thing is now I can go back to work!

I have been having tremendous pain in both of my elbows. I am a heating technician and this was not good for my work. I went to our family physician, who then sent me to some of the best orthopedics in the state. I also went for steroid shots. I needed to get this fixed. None of the people I went to could help, and the shots did not help. Then I found Pauline. After 6 treatments with her deep tissue massage, my elbows are pain free. Now I see her 2 to 3 times a year to work on my elbows. I call it preventive maintenance. I would not be able to do my job without her help with my elbows.

Thanks for my incredible raindrop massage. When you were massaging my feet and said I had problems with my knees, left ear, adrenals, and neck, you were absolutely spot on! And the herbal oils on my back covered by a hot towel was so relaxing that I went right to sleep as soon as I got home.

I just phoned my daughter to tell her about the experience, and she said she would like to set up an appointment with you. I’ll call you to discuss the times. Good luck with the yoga class you're starting up, and with your trip to India to study their massage methods.
